After 14-week research program on the Great Barrier reef, P.T. Paluma returns home
Our Training and research vessel, P.T. Paluma, has returned to her home port of Brisbane after a 14-week research program on the Great Barrier reef. Pacific Tug Group were engaged by the Australian Institute of Marine Science to provide a suitable platform for a series of scientific deployments, each of which lasting 2-3 weeks at sea.
I think it’s fair to say that we ticked the box on this one.
It was a great privilege for PTG to provide this exceptional vessel and an even more exceptional crew.
We would like to extend our gratitude to all of the wonderful AIMS team, who have been such a pleasure to work with throughout this project.
Additionally, from everyone at PTG, we would like to thank our amazing crew, who did us proud as always.
We look forward to more opportunities to offer our services in 2025, and with the sister ship P.T. Mermaid coming on line in Q1, our capacity continues to grow.
Merry Christmas to AIMS, and thank you for all of the great research you do.
